University Laboratory High School (Uni High) is a public high school affiliated with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We enroll about 320 students in grades 8-12. Students are admitted via an application process, and any student who is/will be a legal resident of Illinois by the first day of school can apply.  More information about Uni High is below this form.

We strive to be a safe and inclusive space for students with unique experiences. 

If you would like to learn more, please use this form to sign up for a prospective family. There will be a presentation and the opportunity to ask questions.  To sign up, click on the link and select a date from the calendar. For Zoom meetings, we will send you a Zoom link the day before the meeting.

We do not have individual meetings or give tours to prospective families due to staffing limitations.  The prospective family meeting includes a video of the school and an opportunity to ask questions. You can also use the form above for inquiries.

About the Student

Students in 6th and 7th grade will be considered for admission to the 8th grade (subfreshman) class. Students in grades 8-10 will be considered for the next higher grade level.
